You need to change it to true if you are using advanced queueing and you want your queue to continue working after failover, even if you don't use AQ I don't see any harm in having it set to true other than the additional chatter about AQ information across the nodes. You can always change the service to make this option false.

DBMS_SERVICE.MODIFY_SERVICE(
service_name IN VARCHAR2,
goal IN NUMBER DEFAULT NULL,
dtp IN BOOLEAN DEFAULT NULL,
aq_ha_notifications IN BOOLEAN DEFAULT NULL,
failover_method IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL,
failover_type IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL,
failover_retries IN NUMBER DEFAULT NULL,
failover_delay IN NUMBER DEFAULT NULL,
clb_goal IN NUMBER DEFAULT NULL);

I hope this helps :)

OraProfessionalshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08294268250351415794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-67358174266399329.post-47485265681057696512015-11-17T07:29:31.108-05:002015-11-17T07:29:31.108-05:00if we change aq_ha_notifications to true will it b...if we change aq_ha_notifications to true will it be any problem on normal db execution or how to revoke the action.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06955220814503666251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-67358174266399329.post-79888850028345287652015-03-13T03:10:30.364-04:002015-03-13T03:10:30.364-04:00I tried with check constraints but still it's ...I tried with check constraints but still it's scanning all tables.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07365099706558944848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-67358174266399329.post-73366525274147283262014-02-04T16:23:55.396-05:002014-02-04T16:23:55.396-05:00Oracle will pay attention to check constraints on ...Oracle will pay attention to check constraints on the partition tables when running the view query. Its annoying but the solution I found is to resuce the stack size of the "oracle.exe" and the "listener.exe" with the orastack utility. I believe that the default is 1 MB and for oltp applications 128KB works great. Please try this next time and I bet it will get some extra millage for yumitrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10965523523460923572noreply@blogger.com
